Welcome to VCSC New Student Online Enrollment
The Vigo County School Corporation welcomes registration for PreK-12th grade via this page.

1). If your student finished last school year with a VCSC school you do not need to enroll them for the upcoming school year. All students will rollover to the next school year at all grade levels, even those moving from elementary to middle and middle to high.

2.) If you already have or previously had a child in the corporation you will need to complete enrollment for additional children through Family Access via Skyward. Please use the reset login/password link on the login page if needed.

Tuition Waivers For Qualifying Families

Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) | On My Way Pre-K

Families who have applied for the above programs, but were ineligible, may qualify for a Title I waiver. Must provide documentation and reside in one of the following Title I Districts:

Ben Franklin, Davis Park, DeVaney, Farrington Grove, Fayette, Fuqua, Hoosier Prairie, Lost Creek, Ouabache, Sugar Creek Consolidated, Sugar Grove, Rio Grande, and Terre Town.

  • Proof of Residency: Utility bill, mortgage/lease document, rent receipt, etc.
  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Child’s Immunization Records

Kindergarten Round-Up Enrollment Information

What You Need to Know

  • VCSC Full Day Kindergarten: 8:00 AM – 2:40 PM daily.
  • Children who are 5 years old by August 1, 2026 should register for kindergarten.
  • An early entrance appeal is available online for children born August 2–31.
  • Enroll by April 30 to ensure notification of your school’s orientation.
  • When registering online, be prepared to upload your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency.

Registering Out of District

Register in your home school district. For circumstances that necessitate a change, guardians may apply online for a permit to attend a school outside of their district.

A permit will be considered and processed by the receiving principal. In consideration of enrollment numbers, permits will be processed closer to the start of school. Permits causing enrollment to exceed maximum class size may not be approved.

Register by April 30 to ensure proper staffing!

New Student Enrollment

For students who have never been enrolled in VCSC, complete these two steps. If your family already has a child in VCSC and you are enrolling a new child, skip to step 2.

Step 1

Obtain your username and password to begin enrollment.

  • Once you have your username and password, you are ready to begin online enrollment by clicking the button under Step 2.
  • Please remember to enroll your child in the school that falls within your district based on your home address. You may call (812) 462-4011 to verify.

Step 2

Enroll your child into a VCSC school.

  • Once your enrollment is completed, you will be notified via email with an approval or denial.
  • If you need help with the online application process, please contact your child’s school.
  • Please take copies of immunization records, proof of residency, and birth certificates to the school if you cannot upload them.

We have options for full and half-day Pre-K.

If you live in a Title I District or quality for On My Way Pre-K or CCDF Vouchers, these options may be free or greatly reduced.
